About

Our Values & Mission

We, the 1st generation of Filipino Americans, believe in the value of sharing our success with the future generations of Filipino youth. It is our responsibility to instill the spirit of success, humility, and generosity into our children’s future.

Our mission is to serve as an example by developing Filipino youth into responsible and caring members of society. We want to enable our children, especially those in need, to reach their full potential and become valuable citizens of the world.

Every day, 95 children in the Philippines die from malnutrition. Twenty-seven out of 1,000 Filipino children will not live past their fifth birthday. A third of Filipino children have stunted growth for their age. Stunting after 2 years of age can lead to permanent, irreversible and even fatal health.

Only half of children 3 to 4 years old are enrolled in day care, and only 78 per cent of these children go on to complete basic education.

Instead of attending school, close to a million Filipino children end up working as garbage scavengers in public dumps. Their working conditions are filthy and can lead to serious effects on their health.
